Turner bullish over survival

Hereford United manager Graham Turner has backed his side to climb away from the drop zone following Tuesday's 1-0 victory over Carlisle United.

The Bulls secured their first league win since September courtesy of Andy Williams' second-half strike, with the rare three-point haul moving them off the foot of the League One table.

"When you are bottom of the league it is embarrassing to look at, but if we continue to believe in what we are doing then we have every chance of climbing out of trouble," said Turner.

"We must continue to work hard and do what we have been doing in the last two matches and stay disciplined and solid at the back.

"We have always looked as though we are capable of creating chances, even at Oldham when we lost 4-0."
