Hereford United have landed Charlton Athletic goalkeeper Darren Randolph on a season-long loan.

The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international impressed Bulls boss Graham Turner while on loan in League Two with Bury last season.

The keeper was outstanding during the Shakers' goalless draw at Edgar Street in March with a rueful Turner admitting he was "glad to see the back of him" afterwards.

Randolph also made two first-team appearances for the Championship club last season in the Carling Cup before joining Bury on loan in February.
