Quadruple boost for Bulls
04 Jul 2007 - 11:56:55
Hereford United manager Graham Turner has swooped to bring three new players to the club, while centre-half Dean Beckwith has penned a new contract with the Bulls.
Turner has seen a number of players depart Edgar Street this summer, but will be boosted by the decision of key defender Beckwith to pledge his immediate future to the club by signing a one-year deal.
The three new arrivals are Bournemouth defender Karl Broadhurst, ex-Huddersfield Town stopper John McCombe and former Walsall utility man Kris Taylor.
Twenty-seven-year-old Broadhurst joins subject to a medical after ending a nine-year stint with the Cherries, having made well over 200 appearances for the south coast club.
McCombe, 22, made only 20 appearances for the Terriers before being allowed to move on, while Taylor, 23, was a regular in the Saddlers side that secured the League Two title last term.
The left-sided player is also well known to Turner from two loan spells with Burton Albion while Hereford were still in the Conference.
