Hereford United manager Simon Davey has brought in two new players ahead of the new League Two campaign.
The former Barnsley and Darlington boss has stamped his mark on the club by bringing in defender Michael Townsend and striker Sam Malsom following successful trial periods.
Townsend, 24, has signed a two-year deal at Edgar Street following his release from local rivals Cheltenham Town.
Meanwhile, Malsom, 22, has penned a one-year deal after he played in the recent pre-season friendly against Swansea City.
He has had spells at Torquay United and Plymouth Argyle and, more recently, he has been playing in the Faroe Islands and Iceland.
The duo will be looking to feature in the Bulls' opener at Crewe Alexandra on Saturday August 7.
