Second-half goals by Craig King and Ryan Valentine helped Hereford see off promoted Rochdale.Chris Dagnall went close for Dale early on with a fierce 30-yard volley. But Hereford took the lead when Craig Dawson's attempted clearance from Gavin McCallum's shot was charged down by King and into the net.
