Gavin McCallum's goal gave Hereford victory over fellow-strugglers Torquay.McCallum broke the deadlock with a flicked close-range finish and almost made it 2-0 soon after when he fired against the post from 15 yards out. Hereford dominated early on but Torquay improved after the break and went close to pulling a goal back when Elliot Benyon and Adam Smith both fired wide.
