Jim Bentley's first-half strike boosted Morecambe's play-off hopes and sealed Hereford's fourth straight home defeat.The Shrimps captain headed past Adam Bartlett from Simon Hackney's far-post cross to clinch a deserved win. Phil Jevons missed a gilt-edged chance to double the lead when he scuffed the ball wide with an open goal gaping.
