Hereford United have re-signed former fans' favourite Steve Guinan on a month's loan from Cheltenham Town.

The 31-year-old striker was a hit with the Edgar Street faithful after a two-year spell with the Bulls before leaving to sign for the Robins in 2004.

The Birmingham-born forward has been restricted to just a handful of starts this season at Cheltenham and has moved to the League Two side in a bid to play more first team football.

In his previous spell, Guinan netted 39 goals in 80 appearances for the Bulls
