Hereford United boss Graham Turner is hopeful that star striker Stuart Fleetwood will be back in action in a couple of weeks' time after an illness.
The Wales Under-21 international needed hospital treatment last week for a viral problem and Turner has confirmed that Fleetwood has been hit hard by the problem.
He told the club's official website: "He has been really ill and was hospitalised last Friday with a serious viral infection.
"He has lost an awful lot of weight in a very short period of time and it's going to take a while for him to get back to full fitness.
"He's improving now, but I can't really put a timescale on how long it will be before he will be back in action.
"Hopefully we won't be without him for more than a couple of weeks, but we have to give him the chance to make a full recovery rather than rushing him back."
Fleetwood has netted six goals for the Bulls this season, including a hat-trick in the Carling Cup first round victory over Coventry City.
