Bulls make double capture

Hereford United have re-signed Ben Smith and also added Danny Thomas to the Edgar Street ranks.

Former Bull Smith has rejoined the League Two side on a two-and-a-half year deal from cash-strapped Weymouth.

The 28-year-old midfielder made 55 appearances for the club, netting 18 goals in an injury-plagued two-year spell before leaving for Shrewsbury in 2004.

Meanwhile, Thomas has agreed a move to Edgar Street on a short-term deal until the end of the season.

The left-sided midfielder spent the first half of the campaign at Shrewsbury and played in the side that defeated the Bulls 3-0 at Gay Meadow in December.
