Bulls let Samson leave

Hereford United have parted company with goalkeeper Craig Samson by mutual consent.

The 25-year-old moved to Edgar Street from Dundee last summer but made only 14 appearances for the Bulls, the last coming in January's 4-1 defeat at Stockport County.

Before joining Hereford, Samson spent his entire career in Scotland, playing for Kilmarnock, Dundee United and Ross County before joining Dundee in the summer of 2007.

He also spent time on loan at Queen of the South and St Johnstone while he was with Kilmarnock.
