    Bulls' Eustace boost

    09 Nov 2006 - 16:59:22

Hereford United have extended the loan stay of Stoke City midfielder John Eustace to a second month.

The 27-year-old moved to Edgar Street in mid-October to gain much-needed match practice after battling back from long-term injury, and has inspired the Bulls to a run of three wins and a draw in four games.

Potters boss Tony Pulis told the club's official website: "John needs the loan for fitness really.

"I think it is for the best of the football club that he stays for another four weeks."

Meanwhile, United are waiting to see whether Neil MacKenzie will stay on for a second month, with his parent club, Scunthorpe United, having recently changed managers.

Neither he nor Eustace will feature in this weekend's FA Cup first round derby clash with Shrewsbury Town.
