Bartlett: Bulls can't afford to rest
Published: 18 Mar 2010 - 14:01:27
The Bulls have taken three points from the last 21 on offer and have slipped back down to 20th in the League Two table having risen to 16th with three wins from four games at the start of February. Bournemouth, Rochdale and Rotherham all lie in wait over the last five games of the campaign, while bottom two Darlington and Grimsby and fellow strugglers Barnet are among those coming up in the next five. And that is where goalkeeper Bartlett wants Hereford to secure their Football League status, telling Bulls Player: "We need wins, we're 10 points clear with 10 games to go. "We've got four wins on Grimsby and Darlington but you can't rest on that, we need to pick up results and the sooner we do that then the easier it is going to be to play our football over the rest of the season. "The last thing you want is the pressure to build up and for them to get a few results and for us to stay in the rut, so the sooner we can put a few more points on the board the happier the place will be."
