Valentine to make long-awaited return

Ryan Valentine could return for Hereford`s trip to Macclesfield. The defender has not played since sustaining a hip injury in November but is now fit and available with just one match of the campaign remaining. With Hereford having sealed their League Two survival with last weekend`s 1-1 draw against Bradford, manager Jamie Pitman may be tempted to include him at the Moss Rose. Valentine`s comeback just leaves Dan Connor on the sidelines, with the goalkeeper having failed to make one appearance all season due to his hip injury. Striker Sean Canham was an unused substitute last weekend having been recalled from his loan spell at Kidderminster and could also be involved in some capacity against the Silkmen.
