Rob Purdie has signed a permanent deal with Hereford after having his contract at Oldham terminated by mutual consent. The 28-year-old midfielder, in his second spell at Edgar Street, arrived on loan from Oldham at the end of October. Purdie began his career with Hereford and moved on to Darlington in 2007, before signing for Oldham in the summer of 2009 on a free transfer. He failed to make a first-team appearance for the Latics due to a series of injuries, but has featured on nine occasions for the Bulls since his return.
