Pitman rues poor second half

Hereford boss Jamie Pitman felt his side's poor second half showing was the main reason for their 2-1 defeat at home to Barnet. The Bulls made a dream start when they took the lead after Richard Rose fired them ahead inside the first minute but Izale McLeod slotted home after being teed up by Sam Deering to level matters a minute before the break. McLeod converted from Mark Marshall's cross for his and Barnet's second 12 minutes from time. Pitman said: "I'm not going to beat about the bush. We were good in the first half and poor in the second half. "We have conceded bad goals and we can never get any momentum going because we failed to do something at home that we do away. "Barnet have closed the gap but we have two games in hand and we have to make sure we get something from those. "We conceded a bad goal which was probably avoidable before half-time which gave them the momentum."
