Pitman praises brilliant Bull

Hereford boss Jamie Pitman was quick to pay tribute to Wycombe goalkeeper Nikki Bull following Tuesday night`s 0-0 draw at Edgar Street. The 29-year-old produced a string of fine saves to earn the visitors a point, denying Bulls midfielder Joe Colbeck and striker Stuart Fleetwood twice as well as full-back Ryan Green. Pitman said: "We had the better of the chances and their keeper has pulled off two not just very good but world-class saves. "The shot from Ryan Green was at a nice height for the keeper but it looked as if it was flying in and it was a great save. You have to give him credit for that, it was a tremendous instinctive save." Pitman also spoke of his delight after seeing his side battle another step closer to safety. He said: "We played very well and worked very hard again. "Full credit to the players, they have put in a great shift against a very good Wycombe side who are second in the league and going very well. On another day we might just have nicked the win but we have taken another point and it's another point on the board."
