Pitman praise for Bulls
Hereford manager Jamie Pitman was proud of his players as they came away from Stevenage with a 1-0 win.
Joe Colbeck`s stunning 83rd-minute strike from distance proved enough to snatch victory and move the Bulls nine points clear of the relegation zone.
Pitman said: "Overall I'm delighted because looking back at the game as a whole, I feel we were worthy winners.
"We've got a bit of momentum going and that's encouraging. All the players have worked so hard this season. It's been tough at times, but all the instructions they've taken on board and once again we've got the rewards here.
"If any neutrals were looking I don't think they could have argued too much with the outcome. Again we've created some good opportunities and maybe on another day we may even have scored one or two more.
"This was a difficult task for us but we've come through it with flying colours. As a manager I can't really ask any more from the players - they've done me proud again. It's been another hugely satisfactory night and we now move towards the weekend in good heart and with plenty of confidence."
