Pitman praise for battling Bulls

Manager Jamie Pitman lauded his players after Hereford put further distance between themselves and the League Two relegation places with a 3-1 win over Torquay. Having gone behind after just 10 minutes through Jake Robinson's opener, the Bulls produced a great riposte to cruise to victory as Nicky Featherstone's late strike added to Stuart Fleetwood's double. "I am really delighted because Torquay are a decent side, there's no doubting that," said Pitman. "We rode our luck a little at times but we had our chances and took our chances at the right times. "Obviously the second goal came very early in the second half and I think that helped us get on top a little bit, because it meant Torquay had to go for it, which left them open to the counter attack. "We've got a momentum going now but we know that Lincoln at home is going to be very tough. We know each other very well I think this will be the fourth time that we have played them this season so we will know plenty about each other. "I have just said to the players we have got away from the bottom two and we've got to make sure we stay out of the bottom two and to do that we have to do what we have done here."
