Pitman on shortlist
Jamie Pitman has been recognised for Hereford`s recent upturn in fortunes by being shortlisted for League Two`s Manager of the Month award for January.
The Bulls boss is still learning the ropes having been promoted from club physio back in early October on a caretaker basis now until the end of the season.
But he has already proved his managerial nous by getting the best out of the players at his disposal to help turn around the club`s league fortunes and also embark on an FA Cup run.
January was central to Pitman`s success as he masterminded three League Two victories and a draw along with progress in rounds three and four of the FA Cup before eventually being undone in the fifth round at Sheffield Wednesday.
Pitman is up against Crewe`s Dario Gradi, Chesterfield`s John Sheridan and Wycombe`s Gary Waddock, with the winner to be announced next Thursday.
