Pitman left to rue penalty decision

29 January 2011 19:30
Hereford manager Jamie Pitman was disappointed with the referee's decision to award Sheffield Wednesday a penalty in ther 4-1 FA Cup win. The Bulls moved into a surprise lead thanks to Stuart Fleetwood's eighth minute strike, but Wednesday's class shone through as two penalties from Clinton Morrison and strikes from Jermaine Johnson and Darren Potter saw the Owls progress. Pitman said: "I thought it was a tight game up until their second goal, which was a big blow. "None of their players appealed for the penalty. There was some confusion but the linesman gave it. I will have to see it again. "I don't think that we deserved to lose 4-1."
