Pitman hails clinical Shakers

Hereford boss Jamie Pitman admitted that his side had been beaten by a better team after Bury won for the 10th time on the road this season. The Bulls went down to two goals from Shakers skipper Steven Schumacher, who then turned provider as Ryan Lowe prolonged his club-record run and scored for a ninth successive match. "Bury are, without a doubt, one of the best teams we have played this season,"said Pitman. "We knew, coming into the game that it was going to be tough and, if someone had said beforehand that we could have had a point, then we would probably have taken it. "Bury have been in and around the leading spots for a number of years now. They have some experienced players and are a very decent side. "Their away record is the best in the league."
