Pitman frustrated by leveller

Hereford manager Jamie Pitman admitted he was frustrated after watching his side reduced to 10 men before conceding a late equaliser in the 2-2 home draw with Macclesfield. Tony Diagne gave the Silkmen the lead in the 18th minute, but the Bulls hit back through Robert Purdie's 40th-minute penalty. In the second-half, despite having Michael Townsend dismissed for two bookable offences, Hereford went ahead through Stuart Fleetwood but then let in Tyrone Barnett to head home a last minute leveller for Macclesfield. "It was a silly mistake at the end and was extremely frustrating," said Pitman. "I thought it was horrible and wasn't enjoyable for us when they made it difficult. "We coped very well when we went down to 10 men and had a good spell with Stuart Fleetwood always looking a threat but we made our own downfall by a silly mistake. "I thought our players worked very hard, but the sending off and goal were frustrating."
