Pitman eyes next season

Boss Jamie Pitman was already looking ahead to next season after Hereford's final-day 1-1 draw with Macclesfield. Ryan Green put the Bulls ahead in the 19th minute, but the game turned on its head just after half-time when Michael Townsend felled Matty Hamshaw in the area. Townsend saw red for the challenge and Lewis Chalmers converted the resulting spot-kick to ensure the Silkmen a side a share of the spoils. He said: "We've got a good foundation now. Since I took over the club this year we've been in the top 10, maybe top seven in terms of form and now we've got a foundation to build on next year. "We want to be signing up the players that we an as soon as possible and I'll be talking to them next week. I feel sorry for Lincoln (who were relegated). "I've been there myself but you've got to give Barnet credit, they have fought and fought and got themselves out of it."
