Pitman considers loan extensions

Hereford manager Jamie Pitman will assess possible loan extensions for Harry Pell and Waide Fairhurst when the time comes. Jake Jervis returned to Birmingham on Wednesday after his month-long stay came to an end, with Pitman revealing he will not be looking to bring the striker back to Edgar Street. Midfielder Pell, who has impressed during his stint from Bristol Rovers, sees his one-month deal expire next week, while Doncaster forward Fairhurst, with three goals to his name in three games, is currently due to stay until mid-March. Asked about potential extensions, Pitman told Press Association Sport: "We'll just take it week by week (with Harry). Obviously he's Bristol Rovers' player and it depends what they want to do with him so we'll just leave it as it is for the moment and maybe look at something next week. "Whether it gets extended or whether he goes back, it's their decision a little bit. "Waide's done very well in what he's done, he's worked very hard and been clinical when he has got his chances. As long as that continues I'll be very happy. Doncaster have got their own injury problems, Waide comes here and scores a lot of goals and obviously they will maybe be keen to take him back. Again, we'll just have to play it week by week and see where we are closer to the time when their loans are up."
