Bulls without skipper Kovacs

Hereford will be without suspended skipper Janos Kovacs when they come up against Northampton at Edgar Street. The centre-back was shown a second yellow card for bringing down Calvin Zola nine minutes into the second half of Saturday`s goalless draw against Burton and now serves a one-match ban. Kovacs is likely to be replaced by like-for-like replacement Michael Townsend, who returned to the bench at the weekend having served a one-match suspension of his own. Otherwise, manager Jamie Pitman is likely to keep changes, if any, to a minimum having named the same XI on Saturday as the one which saw off Cheltenham 3-0. Victory over the Cobblers, who have drawn their previous four matches, could put Hereford eight points clear of the drop zone after their point against Burton provided them with a bit more breathing space at the bottom. Pitman said: "If we win the Northampton game we get four points from these two games and that`s a good return, what we have to do is make sure we try to do that."
