Hearts will let David Witteveen help Dundee in their hour of need Despite Dundee going into administration, Hearts are happy for David Witteveen to see out his loan spell at Dens Park. Nine players were made redundant by the administrators brought in to save Dundee on Friday but Witteveen and St Johnstone midfielder Jamie Adams were retained in the club's squad. The Austrian, who spent time on loan at Morton last season, signed a three-month agreement in August. A Hearts spokesman said: "In light of what has happened at Dens Park, we could have brought David back to the club to join up again with the first-team squad. However, given the circumstances in which Dundee finds itself, we have decided that would not be an appropriate course of action. David will now remain with Dundee until the end of his loan period."
