Wallace to miss Scotland games?

Lee Wallace's ankle injury could see him out of the national squad. After yesterday's 1-1 draw with Dundee United, Hearts manager Jim Jefferies admitted defender Lee Wallace is a doubt for Scotland's forthcoming EURO2012 double header, against Lithuanian and Liechtenstein. Wallace was initially included in the team but did not feature as he pulled up in the warm-up after a pain-killing injection failed to have the desired effect on his ankle and he could miss out playing for the national side. Jefferies said: "He has got deep-rooted inflammation in his ankle, he aggravated it in midweek against Elgin City. We thought it would clear up. We tried an injection, we put him in the team and hoped it would numb in the warm-up. But he came back in saying it was not having any effect. He will report to Scotland and we'll see how it goes."
