Hearts have allowed unsettled striker Andrius Velicka to leave Tynecastle and sign for Norwegian side Viking FK.
The Lithuania international is the Edinburgh club's top-scorer this season with 11 goals, but has been allowed to leave for an undisclosed fee.
Velicka joined Hearts in June 2006 from FBK Kaunas and scored 25 times in 49 appearances.
"We understand Andrius' enthusiasm for the move and it will present opportunities for other players to make their mark on our team," confirmed a club spokesman.
"Viking provides Andrius with another challenge in his footballing career and we wish him the very best of luck.
"He has always given one hundred per cent and he has rightly earned the applause of large sections of the Hearts support.
"But we have no doubt that we have players that are capable of challenging for one of the club's striking positions."
