Suso makes Hearts pledge

Jesus Manuel Suso has promised to put a smile on Hearts fans' faces after completing his switch from Tenerife to Tynecastle.

The 24-year-old, who spent last season on loan at CD Fuerteventura, has inked a three-year deal with the Jambos and is excited by the prospect of playing in Scotland.

He told the club's official website: "I am very happy to be here. I like to take players on one v one and provide the final pass into the box. I am a quick player, and an aggressive player.

"Everybody likes to score goals and I am like everyone. I scored nine goals last season at Fuerteventura.

"In the Spanish Second Division B there is a similarity with the physicality and I will have to get used to that straightaway in Scotland.

"It is very exciting to be involved in this sort of competition. I want to work hard and try and put my grain of sand in the club and help the club do as well as possible."
