Hearts have parted company with former captain Steven Pressley in the latest twist to the saga of unrest at Tynecastle.
Pressley, 33, was striped of the captaincy and dropped in October after claiming there was "significant unrest" in the dressing room over the way the club was being run by majority shareholder Vladimir AS Romanov.
The defender - who lifted the Scottish Cup back in May - was briefly restored to the side last month but has now left the Edinburgh club.
"I have enjoyed my time at Tynecastle enormously and will be sad to leave the club," Pressley said in a statement on the club's official website.
"Particularly, I would like to thank the fans for their support during my time at the club.
"I wish the club, the management, and my fellow players, the coaches and the fans every success in the future."
Hearts head coach Valdas Ivanauskas added: "It has been a difficult few weeks for both the club and Steven.
"We recognise the tremendous contribution that Steven has made both as a player and as captain over the years and we wish him all the best for the future."
