Hearts' sporting director Alex Koslovski has said that Steven Pressley was recalled for Saturday's SPL clash with Inverness Caldonian Thistle because of his excellent attitude in training.
The Scotland international missed the previous two matches amid rumours he had been dropped for his criticism of club owner Vladimir AS Romanov, but returned for the weekend stalemate.
"We always said the best men in training are selected," said Koslovski.
"Steven showed 100 per cent effort and attitude last week and showed (coach) Eduard Malofeev he is a high-quality sportsman.
"He deserved to be on the pitch, as did Neilson and Fyssas. We always like the experienced players to play to keep the spirit high."
