Tuscany could be the short-term home for the Hearts squad ahead of the new season. Manager Jim Jefferies is planning to take the squad away for a pre-season trip to the Il Ciocco complex in Italy's Tuscany region in early July. This would allow Jeffries and the backroom staff put the squad through their paces in the sunshine to get them back to match fitness before returning for friendlies against Dunfermline, Millwall and Wolves before the first game of the new SPL season on 14 August.Jefferies said: "We're still looking at that and planning round that. People at the club are making arrangements. We're looking to take 25 players, made up of three goalkeepers and 22 players. The rest will be backroom staff."
