Hearts midfielder David Obua has dismissed suggestions that he dived to earn his side a match-winning penalty in their Co-operative Insurance Cup victory over Dunfermline.
Several opposition players were incensed after Obua won a second-half penalty following a coming together with Neil McGregor.
Michael Stewart converted the penalty as Hearts won by a 2-1 scoreline on Wednesday evening.
"I felt the contact," explained Obua. "I just felt the referee had to give one. We had two or three claims.
"It was shoulder to shoulder. It wasn't as if I was trying to cheat."
