Hearts midfielder David Obua has said he is keen to continue playing as a striker for the Tynecastle club.Manager Jim Jefferies had utilised the Uganda international in a forward role at the tail end of last season. [LNB]And the 26-year-old enjoyed the experience so much that he is keen to start up front next season. [LNB]"I would like to stick to the position that I've been playing up front where I can score goals," he told the club's official website. [LNB]"There are so many other strikers in the team like Gary Glen and these guys but it is up to the manager who is going to play. [LNB]"With (Kevin) Kyle we are happy to have the big guy around and he adds something to the team." [LNB]Obua also feels that a physically demanding pre-season under Jefferies will benefit the side's team spirit. [LNB]"It is always tough and you expect that they will run you ragged but it is all good," he said. [LNB]"It is pre-season and you have to do it. It's part of the game and as long as we are ready for St Johnstone that's the main thing. [LNB]"There will be a lot of hard work, which is what Jim expects, and there's togetherness. We will battle and fight together," he added.
