Jamie McAllister has committed his future to Hearts by putting pen to paper on a two-year contract extension that will keep him at Tynecastle until the summer of 2008.
The 27-year-old left-back has been a key figure in the Jambos' title-chasing team this term and is delighted to be staying on.
"It's great to have sorted everything out. I'm really enjoying my football at Hearts and everything is going really well," McAllister told the Stellar Group's website.
"Obviously I was keen to stay at the club and sign a new deal and it didn't take long for us to reach an agreement once we got talking.
"All the players are all fully focussed on keeping our run going and keeping up the pressure on Celtic. We certainly haven't given up hope that we can take the title race down to the last few games."
McAllister joined Hearts from Livingston in 2004 and has since played 44 SPL matches for the Edinburgh side.
