More injury woe for Driver

The long season is nearing its end and injuries are piling up. Andy Driver is not having much luck with injuries this season. He will be out of action again for a couple of weeks due to a thigh strain. The 22-year-old winger just came from the tendonitis which has dogged him for virtually the whole season. He managed just 33 minutes of Saturday's 1-0 win over Kilmarnock but pulled up shortly after Suso Santana's winning goal to be eplaced by David Templeton. The former England Under-21 international will now miss Sunday's trip to Ibrox and the home match against Motherwell the following weekend. Jim Jeffries admitted it was difficult to put a date on when Driver will be back. JJ said: "I think we are looking at around two weeks at the moment but whatever the timescale it's another disappointment for the lad whose had a few injuries this season." However, JJ hopes to be able to bring captain Michael Stewart back into this weekend's squad following a calf injury, while defender Ismael Bouzid is also nearing a return after missing two months of action with a hamstring problem. However, striker Gary Glen is doubtful with a similar injury, while defender Jose Goncalves remains sidelined with a knee problem.
