McGowan out to prove a point
Ryan McGowan hopes to seize his opportunity in the final weeks of the season to prove he has a long-term future at Hearts.
The 21-year-old Australian spent two months on loan with Irn-Bru First Division side Partick Thistle earlier this year, a spell he believes helped him force his way back into Hearts boss Jim Jefferies' thinking. Regular first-team football at Tynecastle is now the aim.
McGowan, who is set to be included in the squad for the Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash with Motherwell, said: "That's why I came over from Australia, to play, and that's what I want to do.
"I want to play as many games as I can between now and the end of the season and hopefully push on next season and become a regular."
