Jefferies is confident Hearts can only get better Jim Jefferies has no fresh concerns as Hearts get ready to meet his old team Kilmarnock. Ian Black is available after coming off the bench in last Saturday's 3-0 defeat of St Mirren with a bandage over broken bones in his hand. However, Andrew Driver (thigh), David Obua (groin) and Lee Wallace (knee) remain on the sidelines. Jefferies believes his Hearts side are beginning to gel at the right time and he hopes they can build on the win over St Mirren when they scored three without reply. While pleased with the first home win of the SPL season, Jefferies hopes his side will take more of the chances they create, but he warned against looking ahead to next weekend's Edinburgh derby with Hibs. He said: "We'll just make sure before we think about the Hibs game next week; we'll concentrate on Kilmarnock. They are capable on their day of playing some good football and we've got to make sure we don't let them settle and get in about them and give them more to worry about on the defensive side. As we saw last week we could've scored two or three more goals and that's the pleasing thing - we've been making chances. We took three last week and hopefully we can take another three or four this week if we make them.'' While a number of first team players are out, Jefferies is happy with the make up of his squad as he has numerous young players on the fringes of the first team. Jefferies said: "We've still got Lee Wallace, Andrew Driver, David Obua still to come back in and make us stronger. We've always said when we've got our strongest team on the pitch then the competition for places is going to be good.''
