Laszlo reveals player discontent
Jose Goncalves, Michael Stewart, Larry Kingston, Christian Nade and Marian Kello are all out of contract at the end of the season and manager Laszlo claims they are seeking assurances about the club's ambitions before committing their futures to Tynecastle.[LNB]Laszlo - who lost the likes of Christophe Berra, Robbie Neilson, Bruno Aguiar and Christos Karipidis last term - has opened contract talks with Goncalves and has also gauged the thoughts of captain Stewart.[LNB]He said: "These players need a plan and they would like to know that next season we have good players.[LNB]"You enjoy football, you enjoy training if you have competition."[LNB]Laszlo, who is desperate to recruit a striker at the very least next month, added: "A lot of important players' contracts run out and we must think that, in the summer, definitely, you need players who give you the possibility to have a strong team.[LNB]"You need experienced players and around the experienced players you must build. We've lost too many experienced players.[LNB]"I talked with Jose last week again and he gave me a very concrete and very correct answer.[LNB]"This is the question for the board in which direction we decide to go.[LNB]"I spoke with Mike Stewart also about his future but Mike Stewart told me he would like to wait to give a concrete answer.[LNB]"We need to keep players who help this club and also have the identification with the club."[LNB]Defender Goncalves recently revealed he would definitely quit Hearts this summer, but Laszlo said: "I read also in the newspaper that Jose said at the end of the season he would like to leave the club.[LNB]"But he told me that he feels very good here in Scotland.[LNB]"He enjoys the football, even if we don't have good results."[LNB]Goncalves is desperate to break into the Portugal squad for the World Cup, and Laszlo added: "We can help him to go back to the national team and it can be a dream to be in South Africa 2010 for him."[LNB][LNB]
