Kello unhappy despite strong display
Hearts goalkeeper Marian Kello was not happy with his performance in Sunday's 1-1 draw with Dundee United despite saving a penalty and only being beaten by Morgaro Gomis' stunning strike. The Slovakian kept the Tynecastle side's narrow lead intact when he palmed away Jon Daly's poor 74th-minute spot-kick but could do nothing about Gomis' 25-yard effort on the half-volley as it sailed into the top corner of the net with just four minutes remaining.United were left frustrated in their attempt to find a winner as Kello pulled off a good save to deny Craig Conway.Even Hearts manager Jim Jefferies recognised that Gomis' strike was unstoppable but the shot-stopper is still not happy with himself. He said: "I did touch the ball and that annoys me. I think with a little bit of luck I could have pushed it away. It was a good shot and I'm unhappy that it went in."In previous games, I didn't have a lot to do but at the end against Dundee United I had some saves and I'm happy because, with these saves, I can improve. I thought we were going to hang on for the win when I saved the penalty. I thought this is the point that we're going to win."
