Kello not a happy 'keeper

Marian Kello was sure Hearts were going to win when he saved the penalty on Sunday Marian Kello was not not happy with his performance in Sunday's 1-1 draw with Dundee United despite saving a penalty and only being beaten by Morgaro Gomis' stunning strike late in the game. The Slovakian 'keeper ensured Hearts retained their slim when he got his hand to Jon Daly's 74th minute spot-kick. However, he was powerless to stop Gomis' 25-yard effort on the half-volley sailing into the top corner of the net with just four minutes left. Kello said: "I did touch the ball and that annoys me. I think with a little bit of luck I could have pushed it away. It was a good shot and I'm unhappy that it went in. In previous games, I didn't have a lot to do but at the end against Dundee United I had some saves and I'm happy because, with these saves, I can improve. I thought we were going to hang on for the win when I saved the penalty. I thought this is the point that we're going to win. In the first game of the season against St Johnstone we were unlucky not to win but against United we should have won. I know they had some chances towards the end but we should have beaten United. We made a mistake with the goal and they punished us." Kello believes Hearts brought pressure on themselves through their failure to retain possession during the latter stages of the second half. He said: "I don't know why they managed to finish the stronger. Maybe we conceded possession of the ball too easily."
