Hearts are close to completing a deal to sign midfielder Lee Johnson from Yeovil Town.
The League One side have accepted Hearts' offer and the move will go ahead as soon as the 24-year-old agrees personal terms.
Yeovil boss Steve Thompson told the club's official website: "Naturally, I am disappointed to lose a player of Lee's ability.
"But the move, if completed, is a fabulous opportunity for Lee to advance his career in Scotland.
"Hearts are currently second in the SPL and have a tremendous chance of playing in the Champions League, and Lee is very keen to test himself at this high level."
Johnson joined the Glovers on a free transfer from Brighton in 2001 and has since scored 28 times in 227 senior games.
