Jefferies won't budge over Bryson

Hearts manager Jim Jefferies will not resurrect his interest in Kilmarnock midfielder Craig Bryson unless his former club change their stance.

The Tynecastle club are believed to have had an offer in the region of £300,000 turned down by the Rugby Park outfit.

Jefferies is a huge admirer of the 23-year-old, who he signed from Clyde in July 2007, but he said: "It will only change if Kilmarnock want to sell the boy, it's their prerogative to turn down any offer just like it is our prerogative to make what we feel was a reasonable offer.

"If they feel he is worth more than that, they have every right to turn it down and it will only be resurrected if they come back to us."
