Jefferies slams sloppy Hearts

Hearts boss Jim Jefferies admitted his side had contributed to their own downfall in the 4-0 humbling by Celtic. Jefferies' side, who beat the Hoops 2-0 at Tynecastle in November, travelled to Glasgow unbeaten in 11 league games and in buoyant mood, but they were undone by two goals from Anthony Stokes in between a James Forrest opener and a late strike from substitute Paddy McCourt. And the Hearts boss claimed his side had not done themselves justice. He said: "The last 20-25 minutes was a shambles and we could have lost more than we did. There were two quality goals and two shockers and that was down to us. We started to think we were clever, pushed offside and got caught with a horrendous third goal. "The fourth goal was the icing on the cake, we had the ball in the corner and it should have been in row Z but we got caught and were punished again. "We were sloppy, too smart and too clever, but it is unusual because we have been so good in the last 10 or 12 games. It is now about how we bounce back."
