Jefferies lets McGowan go - on loan
Ryan McGowan will be plying his trade in Glasgow for a few weeks Partick Thistle have taken midfielder Ryan McGowan to Firhill on loan until 30 March . McGowan joined Hearts in 2006 and made his first team debut in May 2008 and shortly afterwards signed a new five year contract.Jim Jefferies loaned McGowan out to Ayr United last season where he made 29 appearances in the First Division on loan, scoring on his debut against Dundee. Obviously Jefferies sees McGowan as one for the future and is using the loan system to get him some much needed first team experience. It must be hard for talented young players at Tynecastle to break into the first team squad especially as the team is doing so well with key players still on the way back from injury.
