Hearts manager Jim Jefferies has asked for patience from Jambos supporters as he seeks a strike-partner for Kevin Kyle.[LNB] Jefferies has targeted a prospective new signing but remains tight lipped given that the player in question is contracted to another club.[LNB]However, the former Kilmarnock boss is hopeful of reinforcing his attack at some point over the five weeks left of the summer transfer window.[LNB]"I've got somebody in mind, I've had him in mind for a wee while," Jefferies told the Edinburgh Evening News.[LNB]"He is at another club but he knows of our interest.[LNB]"That's something which may not be done for the start of the season.[LNB]"It might happen before the transfer window closes.[LNB]"If we start the season and he feels a change is needed then we might be in with a shout of getting him.[LNB]"I would like to get another striker and I'd like to get another midfield player," he added.[LNB]"We have midfielders who can do the defensive side of things.[LNB]"What we need is somebody who likes to get beyond the strikers, a different type to what we've got."
