Manager Jim Jefferies has admitted the Hearts hierarchy have "reined in" their ambitions for the Scottish Premier League outfit.[LNB] This week saw director Vitalijus Vasiliauskas reveal the Jambos had "dramatically" revised plans for the redevelopment of the main stand at Tynecastle, slashing the cost of the work from £51million to £10-15million.[LNB]The move by the cash-strapped club sums up a change of attitude from majority shareholder Vladimir Romanov, who arrived at Hearts five years ago proclaiming he would build the best stadium in Scotland and that the club should be aiming to win the Champions League.[LNB]Jefferies, who returned for a second spell in charge in January, revealed he had met director Sergejus Fedotovas this week, at which more realistic expectations were discussed.[LNB]"Sergejus has been over, he mentioned it at the meeting of the shareholders and I've had a private meeting with him," Jefferies said.[LNB]"I do get that sign that things will be a little bit different working closely with him to try to look at ways of improving.[LNB]"Everything's been great.[LNB]"I see them maybe reining in on two or three things and keeping it a little bit more streamlined - nothing wrong with that."[LNB]Jefferies played down the scaling back of the stadium plans, insisting it would still improve the atmosphere at Tynecastle.[LNB]"If you get a new development on the old stand then it's just going to make it even better," he said.[LNB]"It might not be the original plans and all that was set down but, in this economic climate, I think that was common sense.[LNB]"It's not going to stop them doing something - it just means maybe on a lesser scale, but still good enough to get the people in and give them better facilities."[LNB]Hearts host Rangers in the Scottish Premier League this weekend and Jefferies hopes to welcome vice-captain Marius Zaliukas back from a hamstring injury.[LNB]Calum Elliot and Arvydas Novikovas remain doubts, while Michael Stewart (calf), Dawid Kucharski (hamstring), Ismael Bouzid (both hamstring), Marian Kello (hand), Johnny Stewart (knee) and Ryan Wallace all remain out.[LNB]Ian Black should recover from the concussion which caused him to forget his contribution in last week's Edinburgh derby.[LNB]Jefferies joked: "We'll have to put him through a questionnaire, I think!"
