Hearts manager Jim Jefferies has been encouraged by the fitness of Stephen Elliott ahead of the visit to Aberdeen on Saturday.[LNB] Elliott has only made two substitute appearances since arriving from Preston in the summer.[LNB]But the Republic of Ireland international could now be over his hamstring problems after impressing Jefferies in a 2-0 bounce game win over Hamilton.[LNB]"Stephen looked sharp in the game against Hamilton which was very encouraging," Jefferies told Hearts News.[LNB]"He didn't play the full 90 minutes as I didn't want him picking up an injury with him tiring towards the end."[LNB]David Templeton suffered a dead leg in the game but Jefferies is hopeful of the winger being fit for the SPL clash at Pittodrie.
