Jefferies confused over Killie red

Hearts boss Jim Jefferies said he did not see the events which led to Alexei Eremenko's dismissal in the 2-0 defeat to Kilmarnock. Confusion reigned over the exact reason for the dismissal, but Mixu Paatelainen was told by referee Steven McLean that Eremenko was shown a straight red card for placing his hands on Marius Zaliukas following a challenge on David Templeton. Zaliukas himself appeared to grab his opponent by the throat before Templeton pushed the Killie forward to the floor in retaliation for a foul using a raised foot. "I don't know what the boy did, I've no idea," said Jefferies. "I was surprised to see a red card. I thought it was just a bit of pushing and shoving. "If somebody's pushed somebody and somebody's pushed him back you just book the both of them."
